Purple Cowl and Fingerless Gloves

One day while at Michaels Craft Store, some really pretty deep purple and grey yarn caught me eye.  I usually only buy yarn for a purpose, but decided to get it anyways.

It is Vanna's Choice Yarn, very soft and easy to work with.

I decided to make a pair of fingerless gloves and a cowl.....the beautiful rich colors of this yarn reminded me of cozy and warm.

I used this pattern for the fingerless gloves and this pattern for the cowl. The pictures do not show the dark rich colors properly......so just imagine them about 3x darker.

    I'm glad you made that cowl because I've been wondering how it would turn out. I love it. I can't wait until the yearbook deadline has passed so I can start crocheting again!
