Jerry's New Hat

As I started to use up yarn, I was excited to try out a pattern created by my daughter Jessica who has the Crochet Nature Blog and Etsy Store. Jessica now only uses eco friendly yarn.  She sells her patterns using these wonderful yarns, and also shares other eco friendly ideas on Crochet Nature.  She also has Crochet Nature Facebook Page .

Objectively, I love her patterns....they are well thought out, easy to follow with beautiful results. Jessica introduced herself and her talents with her blog Sunny Stitching.

There was some Simply Soft Caron yarn in the stash that I used to crochet Jerry a new hat using Jessica's Slouch Hat Pattern.

Recycled and Organic Cup Sleeves

Three new listings have been added to the etsy store Jessica and I opened recently called SunshineMakings.  Jessica also has the cheerful and creative blog sunnystitching.  All items on Sunshine Makings are handmade by me and Jessica .......with a joy for creating.

We are excited to start using organic and recycled yarn for our items......

The Recycled Denim Cup Sleeve below is actually crocheted with some fabulous denim recycled yarn that is actually spun from recycled denim fabric.  The yarn is very sturdy and has wonderful unique look.....

The next items are these beautiful Organic Crochet Coffee Cup Sleeves that we have hand crocheted from soft organic cotton yarn.

Scarves, Cup Sleeves and SunshineMakings!

My daughter Jessica (SunnyStitching) and I have recently opened SunshineMakings etsy store!  This has been a goal of Jessica's for the last two years and it is very special to have a shop together. Jessica made these lovely Flaxseed and Lavender Eye Pillows.  She actually harvested her own lavender to use in them.  They are very beautifully made - A Wonderful Valentine's Gift.

            I was happy to crochet these lovely fingerless gloves.  We also have a multicolored pair of these cozy, warm and comfortable gloves on Sunshine Makings.
